Due to COVID-19, Project Street Brisbane has been postponed to early 2021. We are looking forward to continuing our great project more than ever in the new year.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support.
Welcome to a unique one day photographic event.
We are very pleased to announce Youngcare as our chosen charity adding to a previous $26,110 raised so far in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Wellington NZ.
WHAT IS PROJECT STREET 7:30?
Melbourne based photographers Craig Wetjen and Steve Scalone have teamed up to create a unique opportunity for other photographers to become part of a special photographic collaboration. A fun and challenging day that starts with shooting the streets of Brisbane, editing and printing your image to then having it exhibited and auctioned for charity which is yet to be determined… Yup that is right, All in one day! And all for charity!
The plan is to have thirty photographers start the day in Brisbane CBD to spend a few hours concentrating on what they love to photograph within the city of Brisbane. We would love you to be one of those thirty photographers.
After the photography, photographers will make your way to Maud Street Photo Gallery Brisbane which is where there will be printers which will be ready to print your image to be hung in the gallery for the exhibition opening at 7:30pm the same night. And all for charity. Proceeds on the evening will go to a Brisbane local charity YoungCare.
We already have great sponsors on board like OLYMPUS, EPSON, CANSON, ILFORD, Maud Street Photo Gallery and KAYELL AUSTRALIA. So paper and printing is completely taken care of.
There is a $125 fee to participate which will go to towards the organising costs.
We have already raised over $27,500 for charities in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Wellington NZ in 2017 to 2019
We would really love you to consider being a part of this project. Let’s create an amazing exhibition together and continue to connect photography with the local community and the local community with your photography
Please let either of us know if there are any further questions or details required. We are be excited to have you on board!
